These terms cover your use of PixelLord at pixellord.lol. By adding credit or claiming a tile you agree to them. If you don't, please just browse — that needs no account and no payment.
0. Who you are dealing with

1. Who can use this
Browsing is open to anyone. To add credit you must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, and be using a payment method you are authorised to use.
2. What you are buying
You buy site credit, then spend it to claim tiles on the board. Claiming a tile gives you the right to display content on it for as long as you hold it, which is until someone outbids you. See Pricing for the numbers.
Credit and tiles are a service on this website. They are not securities, not an investment, not currency, and confer no ownership of anything outside this board.
3. Credit is not cash
Site credit is non-refundable. It cannot be withdrawn, transferred to another person, or converted to cash, and it has no value outside this site. Once added it can only be spent on tiles here.
This applies equally to credit you receive when someone takes a tile from you. If you stop using the site, unspent credit simply stays unspent; there is no cash-out.
If a payment is charged in error, contact us at [email protected] and we will look at it. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law where you live.
3a. Your right to cancel
If you are a consumer in the UK or the EU, you normally have 14 days to cancel a distance purchase and get your money back. That right exists by law and these terms do not remove it.
Site credit, however, is available to spend the moment your payment clears. Before you pay, on the Add Funds screen, you are asked to tick a box agreeing to these terms and to immediate supply, and by ticking it you acknowledge that you lose the 14-day right to cancel for that purchase. That is what makes credit non-refundable — not the sentence above it. We record which version of these terms you agreed to, together with the date and the amount, so that both of us can check later exactly what was agreed.
If you added credit and have not spent any of it, write to [email protected] within 14 days and we will refund it anyway. We would rather return unspent money than argue about it. Once credit has been spent on tiles, the service has been delivered and there is nothing to return.
4. Tiles can be taken from you
Holding a tile is never permanent. Anyone can take any tile at any time by paying more than you did. There is no way to lock, reserve, or protect a tile, and we will not make exceptions.
When a tile is taken from you, 70% of what the new owner paid is added to your credit balance and the content on that tile is cleared. Tiles you still hold are not affected.
5. Your content
You are responsible for everything you put on your tiles. By posting content you confirm that:
- You own it or have the right to use it, including any image, logo, or trademark in it.
- It does not break the law that applies to you or to us.
- It does not contain sexual content involving minors, incitement to violence, malware, or anything designed to deceive people into handing over credentials or money.
You keep whatever rights you have in your content. You grant us a licence to display, store, and reproduce it on the board and in screenshots or promotional images of the board — which is simply what publishing it here means.
Everything you post is public. Do not put anything on a tile that you would mind a stranger seeing, screenshotting, or archiving.
6. Moderation, removal, and bans
We do not review content before it appears. We do act on reports.
If content breaks these terms we may remove it without notice and without a refund. Removal clears the pixels and the link. It does not take the tile away from you — you paid for it and you keep it, but it will be blank until you put something acceptable on it. Repeatedly posting violating content may get your account suspended, again with no refund of credit already spent or held.
Report a tile by hovering it and pressing R, or by tapping it on a phone and choosing Report.
7. Links
A tile can carry a link. Links are checked against Google Safe Browsing before they go live, and links flagged there are rejected. Links do not appear as anchors in our page source and are not followed by search engines.
A check passing does not mean we endorse, verify, or take responsibility for where a link goes. Follow links at your own risk. We may remove any link at any time.
8. Fair use of the service
Please don't:
- Use stolen or unauthorised payment methods.
- Automate claims or content submission in a way that degrades the site for others.
- Try to break, overload, or probe the service or other users' accounts.
- File reports in bad faith to get someone else's content removed.
We may suspend accounts that do these things, without refund.
9. No guarantees
The service is provided as is. We don't promise it will always be available, that the board will exist forever, or that a tile you hold will stay yours. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
If we ever have to shut the board down, we will give notice on this site where we reasonably can. Unspent credit is not refundable, which is why we ask you not to add more than you intend to spend.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do. If a change materially affects what you have already paid for, we will say so on the board rather than quietly editing this page.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes go to the courts of England and Wales.
We sell to people all over the world, and that does not change. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in still apply to you, and you can bring a claim in your local courts. Nothing in these terms takes that away.
